What I am about to share took me years to learn: about 25 years to be precise!
Because it was such a long journey, one could say the ‘long’ route up the mountain, and because I’ve now shown so many people up this mountain, I’ve now found the shortest path – the short cut as they say. And this is what I’d love to share with you.
If someone had come to me 25 years ago when I was struggling to overcome depression, adrenal fatigue, chronic fatigue and a host of other health issues, and told me what I am about to share with you, it would have saved me thousands of dollars and years of my life searching for answers. Which is why it is so important that I share this with you now.
There are many more precious gems I could add to what I have written below, but here are 7 top tips I want you to know right now…
A FEW THINGS YOU WILL (ERRONEOUSLY) BE TOLD
-
Often I hear from clients they’ve been told IT’S ALL IN YOUR HEAD.
So what does this mean? That you are making it up? That you enjoy making up symptoms of debilitating pain and fatigue?
It might be your doctor who tells you this, or it might be a close friend or family. The problem is, symptoms of fatigue and pain are ‘invisible’ and often we look ‘fine’. People probably tell you ‘ah, yes, we all feel tired from tired to time don’t we?’, without having an inkling of the indescribable debilitating exhaustion that is really going on inside.
So how do you feel when you are told this? Usually you are going to feel invalidated and unheard. You are going to start doubting yourself, maybe even think you’re going mad, and then start to wonder maybe they’re right and youare making it up!
My advice? TRUST YOURSELF. No-one knows your body like you do. You KNOW what feels right inside your body, you know when things are ‘off’. Get a second opinion. There are plenty of doctors out there who are familiar with CFS, PVFS, adrenal fatigue, chronic fatigue, ME, and know how to diagnose it.
Human beings do not like to be ill for no reason. And even if symptoms are ‘psycho-somatic’ they are still valid and have a purpose, they hold a hidden meaning, a reason for being. It’s up to you (sometimes with help from someone who knows how to interpret this hidden meaning) to work out what your body-mind is really telling you so it can revert to it’s natural state of peace and calm.
2. Often I hear people are told THERE IS NO KNOWN REASON FOR YOUR SYMPTOMS
This was what I was told too.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
The body is FAR too intelligent to make mistakes and there are always reasons for it creating pain and fatigue.
The problem is, we must understand what causes symptoms in order to be able to clear them. Unfortunately this is not currently trained in our culture, where (with all due respect to the amazing feats of modern technology, surgery etc), the emphasis is on diagnosing (giving a label) to a set of symptoms, and then trying to get rid of them as quickly as possible without working out why they are there in the first place. Crazy eh but it’s quite prevalent!
Just a few months ago I literally heard that in only 5% of cases is a doctor likely to be able to identify the cause of illness. 5%! Which means in 95% of cases they cannot say what causes symptoms or illness. It’s a scary statistic, and one I hope will change soon.
So here’s the thing: symptoms are the body’s way of getting your attention, of telling you something is wrong in your life. They are an end result. They are your body’s way of grabbing your mind’s attention to alert you to the fact that something is ‘off’ or you are ‘off track’ in your life somewhere. THIS is what we need to focus on in order to find the true cause of symptoms. And this is exactly what I do when I work with clients. Effectively I am filling that 95% gap.
So if you find yourself being told ‘there’s known cause for your symptoms’, go get another opinion from someone who DOES understand what’s going on.
3. IT’S CAUSED BY A VIRUS
This is one of the most common stories people are told or hear in the media.
So here’s the truth about viruses: according to a forward thinking doctor named Dr David Mickel, the body only allows a virus to take hold once it has become severely and ongoingly depleted through multiple stressors which have weakened the immune system to the point that it allows the virus to infiltrate the system.
When we track back, we find there are a number of life stresses which have occurred over time which finally allowed our immune system to reach a ‘last straw’ point where it just has to break down. It can no longer cope with the pressure. This is when the virus hits. And it’s after this severe virus that we either can’t seem to get well again, or take ages to get well, but either way we just ‘never feel the same again’, and of course the mind latches on to the fact that we just had a virus and thinks it’s the virus that is the cause of the problem.
From my experience of listening to hundreds of clients stories, I have seen the same pattern over and over again, and come to understand that the virus is the last straw, and that the real problem actually started years before. When we deal with the root of the problem, then we can turn things around!
4. “YOU JUST HAVE TO GO HOME AND REST, THERE’S NOTHING ELSE YOU CAN DO”
Whilst on the one hand we may well need to rest, because usually one of the key causes of CFS, ME, adrenal fatigue, fibromyalgia, PVFS etc is due to overdoing it and pushing ourselves to the limit for too long, leading to adrenal fatigue, the solution is not just to rest.
Instead we need to ask ourselves ‘what is it that has really caused my symptoms? What is the much bigger picture going on here which I have not yet seen?’
This is when you will start to discover the things your doctor has not told you…
A FEW THINGS YOU WON’T BE TOLD…

PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS HAVE LITTLE OR EVEN POTENTIALLY NOTHING TO DO WITH SOMETHING PHYSICAL
Now this can seem a little strange at first. We are so conditioned in the Western world to look for a physical cause to our physical pain.
But here’s the thing:
Every physical function of the body is linked to a corresponding meta-physical function.
Now, before you get all worried about me getting all ‘woo woo’ on you, I can assure you there is nothing woowoo about the word metaphysical at all. The word ‘meta’ means ‘beyond’. So metaphysical just means ‘beyond physical’.
So what is the metaphysical here? It is what is going on in our mind, our heart, our feelings, our life… it is whatever is happening in our life which is creating an emotional /mental response in our life which is upsetting our body to the point that dis-ease turns into disease. It’s really quite simple when you understand this and know how to decipher how the body works.
In Dr Candice Pert’s book ‘Molecules of Emotion’ she clearly describes how emotions affect our chemistry, literally changing the functioning of our cells. She explains how our body is a conglomeration of trillions of cells which make up tissues, organs and bones. We are a community of cells.
When we have upsetting life events, our emotions trigger a cascade of hormonal responses in the body, secreting different chemicals (hormones) in our body in response to those situations. These chemicals change our chemistry and eventually this can lead to illness because the cells are physically so out of balance.
This is why physical symptoms are the end-result of what is going on in our mind and emotions, and this is where we need to look to find the solution. Once you know how, it all makes perfect sense, and this is exactly what I do when I work with clients, or teach them how to do for themselves with online home-study programs.
2. CHRONIC FATIGUE IS NOT A LACK OF ENERGY
This was one of the most important pieces of information anyone ever told me on my journey back from chronic fatigue. In fact it was life-changing.
I had spent years thinking I had no energy. Why wouldn’t I think that when that was what I was quite clearly experiencing?
For years I had been telling myself “I’m tired” and believing I had no physical energy.
Now here’s the double whammy:
On the one hand, we have run our battery down, and we may literally have adrenal fatigue, which means the adrenals are literally exhausted. Dr Wilson clearly talks about this in my interview with him on my chronic fatigue recovery summit.
However, speaking personally, whilst it was clear I had exhausted my adrenals, what I also discovered (the big missing piece) was that I also had an energy block and that this was the true and even deeper cause of my fatigue. And working with hundreds of clients it has become clear that it has been the same for them.
This energy block is so severe it actually blocks our energy and makes us feel exhausted. And specifically this energy block is a blocking of emotional energy.
Without even realizing it, I had been holding in a lifetime of emotions, holding them in completely unconsciously, not even knowing they were there!
So where did these emotions come from?
They came from every time I felt sad, angry, frustrated, guilty, ashamed, betrayed, lonely, hurt, disappointed, afraid as I was growing up… and didn’t know how to either feel or express those emotions. So I held them all inside, unknowingly.
But here’s the thing: it takes energy to hold emotions down. It’s like holding a basket ball under water: one has to apply constant pressure to do so, and after a while it gets tiring!
So for years this emotional energy had been building up inside of me, getting bigger and bigger, the pressure building inside, and the force to hold them in increasing, using up all my precious life force energy!
Once I learnt this, and then learnt how to let go of the pressure, like letting steam out of a pressure cooker, everything started to change. Immediately actually, it was life-changing.
So chronic fatigue is often a chronic blocking of emotional energy, not a lack of energy, and we must address this to effect recovery.
3. ALL SYMPTOMS ARE INTERRELATED
Often we can find ourselves with different symptoms: tiredness, pain, insomnia, heart palpitations, muscle aches, nausea, over-sensitivity to food / chemicals /noise / people, digestive problems, stress and more.
Here’s the thing: they are all connected. The body is one whole unit, and your body has certain propensities for certain ‘weaknesses’ or sensitivities in certain organs or tissues. This is because there is no-one else like you on the planet – you are completely unique, with your own set of life circumstances and experiences.
Your body will create the perfect set of symptoms for you to get yourattention. Each symptom has its own meaning. Each tissue and organ has its own metaphysical function (as well as physical function), and it’s up to you (with the help of someone like myself) to interpret that meaning – which is easier than you may think!
Whatever is showing up symptom-wise, there is a deeper core meaning, and that is where we need to get to. This is where the gold lies! This is the hidden treasure!
Once you learn how to interpret your body’s communication, you will piece everything together, and everything will become clear.
It’s taken me years (25 years) to piece all of this together. And it takes me just 90 minutes to explain this to a client and work out what their body is telling them via symptoms. It’s exciting! Just imagine, if you have had symptoms for years, how would it be to understand the cause in less than a couple of hours?

Did you believe that the cannabis as also known as only for addiction is now can be your alternative medicine? Cannabis now has many benefits that will be good for your health. Cannabis oil is produced by extracting the resin of the female cannabis plant using a solvent. After the resin is dissolved in the solvent, it is evaporated leaving a concentrated extract behind. CBD Oil is a type of oil that contains CBD but does not contain THC which can give you a high efficiency. CBD Oil is from that cannabis flower, however, cannabis now is proven that can help people to relieve pains or lessen seizure attacks. I have read many articles suggesting that cannabis has a very potent effect when it comes with pain and inflammation like this strain on blimburnseeds.com/chocolopez
