What is The Functional Medicine Forum?
The Functional Forum is the world’s largest integrative medicine conference; a monthly gathering of like-minded, forward-thinking, integrative health professionals.
Once a month this new concept in practitioner education, or “medutainment”, brings together the latest health news, functional medicine research, practice development and health technology in an upbeat, entertaining way by curating industry’s leading innovators in a mixed-media format of interviews, TED-style talks and videos. Health professionals gather at a venue to watch the monthly virtual ‘webshow’ and network with like-minded peers.
This comes at an exciting time for functional and integrative medicine, not only clinically, but also in the innovative business models being developed around the country. With health politics raising more questions than answers and with technology changing the healthcare landscape for good, there has never been a more ripe time for health innovation.

Collaborate and Transform
One of the biggest frustrations from practitioners who practice the type of medicine that you do, is that you feel isolated from the rest of your medical community who don’t “get” the true value of what you offer .
The purpose of the Functional Forum local meetup groups is to help you to develop a community of practitioners in your area who “get it”, to build your referral network, add value to your practice, your community, and the movement at large.
These events create a dialogue between practitioners who are sharing best practices, asking tough questions, and helping each other create the greatest impact with their patients and communities. It gives you the opportunity to not only network but also, keep your finger on the pulse of what’s happening in your own healthcare community.
The local Auckland Functional Forum meetup group is easy to to attend. Sign up below and you’ll be informed of the first one coming soon!
